Plan store is incomparably unique. The products offered are mostly produced under fair conditions in women's cooperatives. How do you become aware of the individual manufacturers? The most important thing is that we grow with our manufacturers and show continuity. Reliability is the most important thing. Thus, we are not constantly looking for new projects. I receive suggestions from Plan employees on site. I find projects on the ground myself or someone brings a project to my attention, for example documentary filmmakers, journalists, development workers who have discovered something through their research. 08 March is International Women's Day. There is the limited edition Girls Get Equal Plan Shop x Namastehannah collection. It will be made in India at Rami Prints. What criteria exactly did you use to decide on this collaboration? Rami Prints has been around for over 30 years and has been working with the Plan Shop for a very long time. Sheila Desai, the founder, has been advocating for her employees in Delhi for decades. She has the expertise for this collection and she also deserves to get this beautiful order. The parent company of Plan Shop is committed to promoting equal rights for women in many countries around the world. What do you wish for the future and what tips do you have for my readers to support women worldwide? At the heart of the matter is the fact that every person is allowed and should lead a self-determined life. You have to keep that in mind and think about what that actually means. Every person should be allowed to speak out, to shape things and to decide for themselves alone, as long as they do not overstep the boundaries of other people and do not harm anyone, including nature. We know today that all this is not at all self-evident. In concrete terms, this means for me: treat everyone with respect, make sure that peace prevails in your immediate surroundings and support projects that promote all of this. That's what Plan International does, for example.
